چکیده

The relationship between charge-density-wave (CDW) and superconductivity (SC), two vital physical phases in condensed matter physics, has always been the focus of scientists' research over past decades. Motivated by this hotspot, we systematically studied properties layered telluride chalcogenide superconductors CuIr2-xAlxTe4. Through resistance magnetization measurements, found that CDW order was destroyed a small amount Al doping. Meanwhile, superconducting transition temperature (Tc) kept changing with change doping rose towards maximum value 2.75 K when x = 0.075. normalized specific heat jump for highest Tc sample CuIr1.925Al0.075Te4 1.53, which larger than BCS 1.43 showed bulk nature. In to clearly show SC states, propose phase diagram vs. content.

Superconductivity in iron telluride thin films under tensile stress.

By realizing in thin films a tensile stress state, superconductivity of 13 K was introduced into FeTe, a nonsuperconducting parent compound of the iron pnictides and chalcogenides, with a transition temperature higher than that of its superconducting isostructural counterpart FeSe. For these tensile stressed films, superconductivity is accompanied by a softening of the first-order magnetic and ...

Superconductivity and magnetism in 11-structure iron chalcogenides in relation to the iron pnictides.

This is a review of the magnetism and superconductivity in '11'-type Fe chalcogenides, as compared to the Fe-pnictide materials. The chalcogenides show many differences from the pnictides, as might be anticipated from their very varied chemistries. These differences include stronger renormalizations that might imply stronger correlation effects as well as different magnetic ordering patterns. N...

Novel structural phases and superconductivity of iridium telluride under high pressures

Transition metal selenide and telluride have recently receive considerable attention due to their possible structural relation to ferropnictide. Pressure is often used as an efficient way to modify the crystal or electronic structure that in many cases lead to new material states of interest. Here we search the structures of IrTe2 up to 150 GPa using crystal structure prediction techniques comb...
